North Dakota High School Basketball - Berthold thwarts Bishop Ryan
January 7, 2025: Berthold, ND 58718 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Berthold Bombers (Berthold, ND) and the visiting Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND), observed Berthold's basketball team knock off Bishop Ryan by a score of 62-42.
The Bombers (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Surrey (Surrey, ND). The Mustangs come into the B District 6 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Surrey prevailed over Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND), 46-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Hornets (Harvey, ND) in a B District 6 challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Bishop Ryan will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 66-41 league loss to Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND).
