Rhode Island High School Basketball - Blackstone Valley Prep victorious over Mt. Pleasant
January 7, 2025: Cumberland, RI In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE basketball team scored a good 48-35 triumph over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.
The PRIDE (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Providence Country Day (East Providence, RI). The Knights enter the Division III battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, Providence Country Day was outscored by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 51-29, in a league battle.
The Kilties now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilgrim for a Division III battle on Friday, January 10. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 49-26 non-league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 6-1.
