January 7, 2025: Davis, OK 73030 Davis Wolves (Davis, OK) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK), 53-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Davis advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Wolves host Little Axe (Norman, OK) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Indians enter the match with a record of 0-7. Little Axe lost 71-28 in their recent non-league match against Okemah (Okemah, OK)
The Indians now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Velma-Alma for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. Marietta will meet a Comets squad coming off a 55-30 league win over Ringling (Ringling, OK). The Comets record now stands at 2-6.
