Washington High School Basketball - Everett toppled by Ferndale
January 7, 2025: Ferndale, WA 98248 Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Everett Seagulls (Everett, WA), 62-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ferndale advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA) to face the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match on Thursday, January 9. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-4. Mount Vernon lost 56-46 in their recent league match against Lakewood (Arlington, WA)
The Seagulls now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marysville-Pilchuck for a 2A/3A Wesco match on Friday, January 10. Everett will face a Tomahawks squad coming off a 49-29 non-league loss to Cascade (Everett, WA). The Tomahawks record now stands at 0-11.
