The Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH) basketball edged the visiting Hillsdale Falcons (Jeromesville, OH), 57-53 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Huskies now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Smithville for a Wayne County bout on Thursday, January 9. Northwestern will play a Smithies team coming off a 45-39 non-league win over Columbia (Columbia Station, OH). The Smithies record now stands at 10-0.
