The Leo Lions (Leo, IN) basketball were winner over the visiting Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN), 51-39 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Norwell for a Northeast 8 bout on Friday, January 10. Leo will play a Knights team coming off a 71-61 non-league win over Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN). The Knights record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Prairie Heights falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Angola (Angola, IN) to play the Hornets in a Northeast Corner bout on Friday, January 10. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Angola lost 52-27 in their recent non-league bout against East Noble (Kendallville, IN)
