North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Forest bested by Triton
January 7, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28311 Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 69-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Triton advances its record to 9-1 on the year. The Hawks host Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a match on Friday, January 10. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 8-0. Overhills won 74-49 in their recent league match against Harnett Central (Angier, NC)
The Trojans now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Purnell Swett for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 8. Pine Forest will meet a Rams squad coming off a 49-43 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 6-1.
