Texas High School Soccer - Burges knocks off Mountain View
January 7, 2025: El Paso, TX 79925 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX), saw Burges's soccer squad prevail over Mountain View by a count of 4-0.
The Mustangs (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Matadors enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Parkland tipped Fabens (Fabens, TX), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Lobos battle the Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 1 battle, on Friday, January 24. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
