January 8, 2022: Reading, PA 19611 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Berks Catholic Saints (Reading, PA) and the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA), saw Berks Catholic's basketball squad overcome Abington Heights by a tally of 50-41.
With the victory, Berks Catholic improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Wilson (West Lawn, PA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Berks County 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.
Next up, the Comets confront the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 10. Abington Heights will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 56-29 league loss to Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA).
