Alabama High School Basketball - Belgreen nudges New Hope
January 8, 2022: New Hope, AL 35760 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Belgreen Bulldogs (Russellville, AL) basketball squad edged the host New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), by a count of 48-45.
The Bulldogs (16-3) will now prepare for their outing against Vina (Vina, AL). The Red Devils go into the 1A Area 14 outing with a 0-10 record.
The Indians now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Jackson for a 4A Area 14 outing on Tuesday, January 11. New Hope will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 75-73 non-league loss to Fort Payne (Fort Payne, AL). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-4.
