New Jersey High School Basketball - Cedar Grove holds off Waldwick
January 8, 2022: Waldwick, NJ 07463 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) and the host Waldwick Warriors (Waldwick, NJ), saw Cedar Grove's basketball squad hold off Waldwick by a tally of 66-63.
With the victory, Cedar Grove improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Ferris (Jersey City, NJ) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Ferris lost 71-38 in their recent league challenge against Hoboken (Hoboken, NJ)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 12. Waldwick will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 83-76 league loss to Emerson (Emerson, NJ).
