Oklahoma High School Basketball - Norman nips Choctaw
January 8, 2022: Norman, OK 73069 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Norman Tigers (Norman, OK) and the visiting Choctaw Yellowjackets (Choctaw, OK), saw Norman's basketball squad hold off Choctaw by a tally of 53-48.
With the victory, Norman improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Moore (Moore, OK) to play the Lions in a Central Oklahoma challenge on Friday, January 14. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Midwest City Bombers (Midwest City, OK) in a Oklahoma Big 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Choctaw will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 46-42 non-league win over OKC Storm North (Edmond, OK).
