Alaska High School Basketball - Dimond holds off Grace Christian
January 8, 2022: Anchorage, AK 99502 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK), saw Dimond's basketball squad hold off Grace Christian by a tally of 64-59.
With the victory, Dimond improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Lynx host South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to confront the Wolverines in a 4A Cook Inlet challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. South Anchorage won 44-37 in their recent league challenge against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 13. Grace Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 83-45 non-league win over Wasilla (Wasilla, AK).
