Connecticut High School Basketball - Manchester knocked off by East Catholic
January 8, 2022: Manchester, CT 06042 The East Catholic Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Manchester Red Hawks to 56 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windsor for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 11. East Catholic will meet a Warriors team coming off a 81-80 non-league loss to Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
The Red Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Farmington (Farmington, CT). The River Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Farmington ran past Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT), 45-33, in a non-league contest.
