New Jersey High School Basketball - Edison tops Freehold Boro
January 8, 2022: Edison, NJ 08817 Edison Eagles (Edison, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Freehold Boro Colonials (Freehold, NJ), 58-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Edison upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Sayreville (Parlin, NJ) to play the Bombers in a Greater Middlesex - White bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Bombers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Sayreville won 61-55 in their recent league bout against North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ)
Next up, the Colonials play the Colts Neck Cougars (Colts Neck, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 10. Freehold Boro will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 48-39 league win over Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ).
