Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks (Fairfax, VA), 58-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Maryland School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Orioles host Heritage Academy (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 8. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Heritage Academy won 56-54 in their recent league bout against Shalom Christian Academy (Chambersburg, PA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Fairfax HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Gryphons go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to Covenant Life (Gaithersburg, MD).
