Georgia High School Basketball - Fulton Leadership Academy holds off Mt. Zion
January 8, 2022: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Fulton Leadership Academy Gryphons (East Point, GA) and the host Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), saw Fulton Leadership Academy's basketball squad hold off Mt. Zion by a tally of 53-47.
With the victory, Fulton Leadership Academy improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Atlanta Classical Academy (Atlanta, GA) to confront the Cavaliers in a A Public Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 14. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5.
Next up, the Eagles confront the Drew Charter School Senior Academy (Atlanta, GA) in a A Public Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Mt. Zion will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The come into the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 71-67 non-league win over Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).
