January 8, 2022: Edison, NJ 08820 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ) and the visiting Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ), saw J.P. Stevens's basketball team gain a win over Hillsborough by a score of 75-62.
The Hawks now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perth Amboy for a Greater Middlesex - Red battle on Saturday, January 15. J.P. Stevens will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-55 league loss to Monroe Township (Monroe Township, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ). The Warriors come into the Skyland - Delaware battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Watchung Hills Regional prevailed over Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ), 51-36, in a league battle.
