The Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) basketball knocked off the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), 42-32 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions (9-7) will now prepare for their test against MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Generals go into the Central State Eight test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, MacArthur notched a victory over Bloomington (Bloomington, IL), 78-53, in a non-league test.
