The Thurgood Marshall Cougars basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Northridge Polar Bears to 45 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut Ridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15.

The Polar Bears (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH). The Cavaliers come into the Three Rivers contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Lehman Catholic was defeated by Troy Christian (Troy, OH), 47-28, in a league contest.
