With the victory, Rancho Cotate upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Piner (Santa Rosa, CA) to play the Prospectors in a challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Prospectors come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Piner lost 53-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA)
