Ohio High School Basketball - Centerburg knocked off by Highland
January 8, 2022: Centerburg, OH 43011 The Highland Fighting Scots basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Centerburg Trojans to 23 in the Fighting Scots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Fighting Scots now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ontario for a Mid-Ohio match on Thursday, January 13. Highland will face a Warriors team coming off a 76-14 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, Centerburg moves to 1-10 on the year. The Trojans host Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH) to face the Pirates in a Knox Morrow match on Wednesday, January 12. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 12-0. Cardington-Lincoln won 73-48 in their recent league match against East Knox (Howard, OH)
