Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Riverwood Raiders (Atlanta, GA), saw Mount Vernon's basketball squad overcome Riverwood by a tally of 70-56.

With the victory, Mount Vernon improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 14. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 11-2. St. Francis won 56-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Arlington (Arlington, TN)
