Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL), 52-10 in a league bout.

With the win, Normal West upgrades its record to 6-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Springfield (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Senators in a non-league bout on Monday, January 10. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Springfield won 59-18 in their recent league bout against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a Big Twelve bout, on Thursday, January 13. Urbana will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 83-23 league loss to Peoria (Peoria, IL).
