January 8, 2022: Stoneham, MA 02180 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) and the visiting Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), saw Stoneham's basketball squad wallop Winthrop by a tally of 43-22.
With the victory, Stoneham improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Winchester (Winchester, MA) to encounter the Sachems in a Middlesex test on Tuesday, January 11. The Sachems go into the test with a record of 3-1.
The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Swampscott for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11.
