Washington High School Basketball - Lake Stevens holds off Glacier Peak
January 8, 2022: Lake Stevens, WA 98258 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA) and the visiting Glacier Peak Grizzlies (Snohomish, WA), saw Lake Stevens's basketball squad hold off Glacier Peak by a tally of 46-44.
With the victory, Lake Stevens improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA) to confront the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 12. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Jackson won 34-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA)
Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Kamiak Knights (Mukilteo, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 12. Glacier Peak will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 50-18 non-league win over Cascade (Everett, WA).
