The McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) basketball felled the host Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ), 53-45 in Sunday's non-league test.

The Eagles (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Maret (Washington, DC). The Frogs go into the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Maret was beaten by Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC), 56-37, in a league test.

The Argonauts now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12.
