Massachusetts High School Basketball - Wayland nips Diman RVT
January 8, 2024: Fall River, MA 02723 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA) and the host Diman RVT Bengals (Fall River, MA), saw Wayland's basketball squad hold off Diman RVT by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Wayland improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bedford (Bedford, MA) to play the Buccaneers in a Dual County - Small challenge on Friday, January 12. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Bedford won 61-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA)
Next up, the Bengals play the Bristol-Plymouth RVT Craftsmen (Taunton, MA) in a Mayflower - Large Vocational challenge, on Friday, January 12. Diman RVT will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Craftsmen come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 62-39 non-league loss to Upper Cape Cod RVT (Bourne, MA).
