Wisconsin High School Basketball - Lake Holcombe fells Gilman
January 8, 2024: Holcombe, WI 54745 Lake Holcombe Chieftains (Holcombe, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Gilman Pirates (Gilman, WI), 71-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Holcombe upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Chieftains host New Auburn (New Auburn, WI) to clash with the Trojans in a Lakeland - East bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-3. New Auburn won 71-43 in their recent non-league bout against Lac Courte Oreilles (Hayward, WI)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Spencer Rockets (Spencer, WI) in a Cloverbelt - East bout, on Thursday, January 11. Gilman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 71-30 league win over Greenwood (Greenwood, WI).
