January 8, 2024: Wyomissing, PA 19610 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the West York Area Bulldogs (York, PA) and the host Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA), saw West York Area's basketball squad overcome Wyomissing by a tally of 42-31.
With the victory, West York Area improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host New Oxford (New Oxford, PA) to play the Colonials in a York-Adams 2 challenge on Friday, January 12. The Colonials come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. New Oxford lost 66-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Littlestown (Littlestown, PA)
Next up, the Spartans play the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) in a Berks County 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Wyomissing will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 73-38 league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, PA).
