Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Reese Rockets (Reese, MI), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nouvel Catholic Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Panthers host Ithaca (Ithaca, MI) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 11. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
