Florida High School Basketball - Forest Lake Academy ripped by DeLand
January 8, 2024: DeLand, FL 32724 The DeLand Bulldogs basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Forest Lake Academy Panthers to 14 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seminole for a 7A District 2 contest on Thursday, January 11. DeLand will battle a Seminoles team coming off a 51-35 non-league win over Downey Christian (Orlando, FL). The Seminoles record now stands at 9-4.
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Warner Christian Academy (South Daytona, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Warner Christian Academy triumphed over United Brethren in Christ Academy (Holly Hill, FL), 43-38, in a non-league contest.
