Minnesota High School Basketball - Irondale knocked off by St. Francis
January 8, 2024: New Brighton, MN 55112 The St. Francis Fighting Saints basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Irondale Knights to 52 in the Fighting Saints non-league triumph on Monday.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Big Lake for a AAA Section 5 contest on Tuesday, January 9. St. Francis will battle a Hornets team coming off a 55-47 league win over Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 4-6.
The Knights (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record.
