Nevada High School Basketball - Mater Academy East Las Vegas crushes Pinecrest Academy Cadence

January 8, 2024: Henderson, NV 89015

Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars (Henderson, NV), 55-11 in a league bout.

With the win, Mater Academy East Las Vegas upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Southern - Desert bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-9. Virgin Valley won 79-2 in their recent league bout against Chaparral (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Cougars play the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons (Henderson, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Pinecrest Academy Cadence will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 36-34 league loss to Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV).
