Virginia High School Basketball - Bath County ripped by Riverheads
January 8, 2024: Hot Springs, VA 24445 The Riverheads Gladiators basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Bath County Chargers to 11 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Monday.
The Gladiators now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waynesboro for a non-league contest on Friday, January 12. Riverheads will battle a Little Giants team coming off a 70-69 non-league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Little Giants record now stands at 2-10.
The Chargers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Parry McCluer was routed by Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
