With the victory, Artesia moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Whitney (Cerritos, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a 605 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Wildcats enter the bout with a record of 0-14. Whitney lost 11-0 in their recent league bout against Glenn (Norwalk, CA)
In their next game, the Gladiators battle the Maywood CES Wolfpack (Maywood, CA) in a Southern bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Marquez will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Wolfpack enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Mendez (Los Angeles, CA).
