January 8, 2025: Bellingham, WA 98226 In Wednesday's non-league test, the Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA), by a score of 46-29.
Next, the Storm encounter the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest test, on Saturday, January 11. Squalicum will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 7-4 record after their 59-40 league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA).
The Red Wolves (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Eastlake (Sammamish, WA). The Wolves come into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Eastlake went down by Interlake (Bellevue, WA), 57-54, in a non-league test.
