In Wednesday's league contest, the host Global Concepts Gators basketball team scored a close 50-44 win over the Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles.

The Gators (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tapestry (Buffalo, NY). The Thunderhawks come into the Section 6 Erie County V contest with a 2-2 record.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Maryvale Flyers (Cheektowaga, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Cleveland Hill will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record.
