January 8, 2025: Ephrata, PA 17522 Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), 58-43 in a league match.
With the victory, Ephrata advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Mountaineers host Solanco (Quarryville, PA) to meet the Golden Mules in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 match on Thursday, January 9. The Golden Mules enter the match with a record of 2-7. Solanco lost 68-61 in their recent non-league match against Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA)
The Eagles now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Solanco for a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 match on Tuesday, January 14.
