The Hopatcong Chiefs basketball squad (Hopatcong, NJ), was outscored 65-52 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ)

With the victory, Parsippany advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Redhawks host Boonton (Boonton, NJ) to meet the Bombers in a Northwest Jersey - Independence battle on Friday, January 10. The Bombers enter the battle with a record of 3-4. Boonton lost 60-41 in their recent league battle against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ)
