The Liberty Tree Academy War Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Monument Academy Lynx to 28 in the War Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The War Eagles now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lotus School For Excellence for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Liberty Tree Academy will confront a Meteors team coming off a 78-49 non-league loss to Moffat County (Craig, CO). The Meteors record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Monument Academy falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Thomas MacLaren School (Colorado Springs, CO) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 4-5.
