Illinois High School Basketball - Serena knocks off Reed-Custer
January 8, 2025: Serena, IL 60549 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Serena Huskers basketball team scored a good 56-47 win over the Reed-Custer Comets.
The Huskers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against LaMoille (LaMoille, IL). The Lions come into the Little Ten contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, LaMoille was topped by Amboy (Amboy, IL), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Comets battle the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 contest, on Friday, January 10. Reed-Custer will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Coalers come into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).
