Illinois High School Basketball - Zion-Benton overwhelmed by Lake Zurich

In Wednesday's league test, the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), by a final score of 50-14.

Next, the Bears clash with the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) in a North Suburban test, on Friday, January 10. Lake Zurich will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 13-7 record after their 39-31 league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).

The Zee-Bees (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats come into the North Suburban test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Libertyville smashed Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 65-23, in a league contest.
