The Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY) basketball edged the host Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY), 46-41 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Saranac for a Section 7 Champlain Valley bout on Friday, January 10. Plattsburgh will play a Spartans team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Peru (Peru, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.
