Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Thayer Academy knocks off Middlesex
January 8, 2025: Braintree, MA 02184 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Thayer Academy Tigers (Braintree, MA) and the visiting Middlesex (Concord, MA), witnessed Thayer Academy's ice hockey team defeat Middlesex by a final score of 7-2.
The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Noble & Greenough got by St. Sebastian's School (Needham, MA), 4-3, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the battle the Proctor Academy Hornets (Andover, NH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 10. Middlesex will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Governor's Academy (Byfield, MA).
