January 8, 2025: Hillsborough, NC 27278

Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC), 52-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cedar Ridge advances its record to 10-4 on the year. The Fighting Red Wolves host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 6-1.

The Bears now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. Chatham Central will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 10-3.
