New Mexico High School Basketball - St. Michael's knocks off Espanola Valley
January 8, 2025: Espanola, NM 87532 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen basketball team scored a good 38-29 win over the Espanola Valley Sundevils.
The Horsemen (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Bosque was topped by East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM), 40-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Sundevils battle the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 10. Espanola Valley will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Broncos come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 71-43 non-league loss to Navajo Prep (Farmington, NM).
