Iowa High School Basketball - Albia ripped by Mt. Pleasant
January 9, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, IA 52641 The Mt. Pleasant Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Albia Blue Demons to 32 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity Catholic for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 71-55 non-league loss to Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-7.
The Blue Demons (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets enter the South Central contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont triumphed over Centerville (Centerville, IA), 59-50, in a non-league contest.
