Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Council Rock South knocked off by Holy Ghost Prep

January 9, 2023: Bensalem, PA 19020

The Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Council Rock South Golden Hawks to 45 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Monday.

The Firebirds now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delaware County Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Holy Ghost Prep will battle a Knights team coming off a 79-68 league win over Faith Christian Academy (Sellersville, PA). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.

The Golden Hawks (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Central Bucks South (Warrington, PA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Central Bucks South was defeated by Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA), 68-44, in a non-league contest.
