Pennsylvania High School Basketball - DuBois can't hold off Karns City
January 9, 2023: DuBois, PA 15801 The Karns City Gremlins basketball team scored 50 points and held the host DuBois Beavers to 48 in the Gremlins non-league triumph on Monday.
The Gremlins now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Allegheny-Clarion Valley for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Karns City will battle a Falcons team coming off a 65-56 non-league loss to Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-7.
The Beavers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Marys (St. Marys, PA). The Flying Dutch enter the District 9 contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, St. Marys nudged Bradford (Bradford, PA), 40-35, in a league contest.
